Photoroom

Photoroom is a photo editor built for product pictures. You take a photo of an item, often on a phone, and it cuts the product out of the background, places it on a plain color or an AI-generated scene, and exports the size you need for a store page or a marketplace. Batch editing applies the same treatment to a set of photos.

For a first shop, it solves a common problem: you have the products but no studio. A clean, consistent set of photos makes a small store look more organized, and the same images work on your own site and on marketplaces with stricter photo rules.

Check the export sizes and watermark rules on the free plan, the license terms for AI backgrounds if you use them in ads, and the marketplace image rules, since some require plain white backgrounds for main photos. Keep the original photos too.
